Re inspire yourself with a great vision for the future
The core of human happiness is a great vision of the future. Unquestionably the human spirit, what is often called love and heart, is in reality, a belief in a vision of the future.
For centuries great men and women have gone on vision quest to seek out the meaning of their life, to put their life into the service of their God or creator, to make choices about careers and dharma. Now, I've taken the mastery of vision quest through the experiences I've had doing these with First Nation Peoples of North America (shamanic and previously called Indian medicine men) combined with Sherpa, South American, Yogic and Ayurvedic teachings - To create a distillation of the process so you can get the benefits without the drugs, deprivation or starvation required for many of those practices.
All you need to do is give yourself 20 minutes a day for 21 days.
The process works like this: you build the courage for honesty with yourself. You step out each evening to be alone for 20 minutes. You stretch, relax, make yourself comfortable and then proceed with the visioning. This visioning process is powerful and confidential. Nobody will get to see the results until you are ready.
All you need to do is to sit quietly, outdoors is best but anywhere alone will be perfect. All you do is to ask "If I couldn't fail what would I love to Be, Do and Have in each of the seven areas of life?"
A vision is always built on inspirations that come from a myriad of thoughts.
Being intentional about our VISION inspires action. What we speak comes to life, sparking collaborative potential and igniting possibility.
It is through our willingness to communicate and share ideas, perspectives and vision with others that we grow more comfortable being in and speaking our truth. We begin to let our guard down and sincerely ask for what we want and need.
With Vision, we stay present in the world because we have a single point of focus. By staying present with one another and being ourselves, we start to recognize common personal and professional interests. Just as the Buddhist teaching says, “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear,” the same can be applied to vision, "When the person is ready, their vision manifests' new opportunities spontaneously arise and new ideas roll in.
A clear seven pointed vision means we are pointed in the direction of where to go and whom to meet. We have gifted ourselves with an authentic platform to share our vision and, as we courageously share, we receive support, inspire others and live in a global community.
I invite you to speak freely about your vision and dreams. The spoken word is a powerful tool and, by leveraging your voice, you expand your dreams from internal thoughts to external possibilities. Know that by verbalizing your ideas out loud, you are empowering your ideas to the Universe. The world is waiting for your vision.
It starts with asking the following questions and sharing them with me:
