- Emotion is the most pleasurable and most painful of all the faculties. It cannot be one without the other. Emotion can vary from the most tender and absorbing affection, to the most violent hatred. These two can be directed succesively to one and the same object.
- Emotion is the most dangerous of all the faculties - overworked it can lead to a great motivator, an actor or a patient in an insane asylum.
- Emotion is the chief faculty by which you move the minds of other people. Insofar as they realise your emotion within themselves, they will respond to your use of it.
- Emotions should always be dininately coupled together in your mind with the ACT you wish the other person or persons to perform. Emotion, you must know WHAT you want them to DO.
- When you know WHAT you want done, by one or a crowdd, you can study what Emotion to use to get that thing done. These, emotions carry you to the heights of fame and success,
- Every famous person has become so by reason of the Emotion they were able to arouse in the heart of the general public.

The Negative Side of Emotion

Emotion operate on you without your knowing it and cause you to feel the most tender and absorbing affection, to the most violent hatred. You can be triggered to feel these two sides of emotion and can be directed successively to one topic or person. (love hate relationships)

But the important key is that emotion can be directed by you toward something or be a reaction by you toward something. We must avoid reaction and choose our emotions instead.
- Emotion is the chief faculty by which you move the minds of other people. Insofar as they realise your emotion within themselves, they will respond to your use of it. But emotion is also the chief faculty by which other minds move you and therefore you can be seduced or angered into all manner of powerless behaviour.
- Emotions should always be dininately coupled together in your mind with the ACT you wish the other person or persons to perform. Emotion, you must know WHAT you want them to DO. But if your emotions are reactions, they will also do what you do not want them to do this is a very strong separation between people and their use of emotion.
- When you know WHAT you want done, by one or a crowdd, you can study what Emotion to use to get that thing done. These, emotions carry you to the heights of fame and success, This means the difference between emotions controlling you and you controlling your emotions. Can you?
- Every famous person has become so by reason of the Emotion they were able to arouse in the heart of the general public. Every failure has been because that individual has no control over their emotions and therefore cannot direct action by self or other toward a specific goal or outcome.
Taking control of your emotions
Fear, anxiety, stress, anger, worry, mental depressions, body pains, insecurity and more are all states of emotion generated by our response to specific triggers. The body, if it perceives a danger or threat has no choice but to act. So you can change your body and mind by how you perceive a situation. This is emotional control. Then, with control you might choose an emotion, like courage, or strength or resilience or even successful in order to create the best result for yourself and others. This is a key skill in life and sport and leadership.
We achieve this perspective shift by looking for balance in anything we have an emotion about... This is called the helicopter mindset. It is done so we can choose our emotions rather than react to emotional triggers. This is key to success.
