- Penetration = Ambition
- After courage comes Ambition. Courage gives you the ability to withstand present opposition, ambition gives you the desire to forge ahead onto more opposition.
- A surplus of ambition makes you unhappy and miserable, because of the unattainable. Lack of ambition keeps you unhappy because of the undesirable. The path between the two is well balanced ambition, directed toward a practical even though difficult, objective.
- To increase ambition put your mind on the desirability of the pleasures and the luxuries of a successful achievement/ position, not too far ahead of you. Ambition should be centred upon an objective not more than 3-5 years away, at the most. Always keep that distance with new objectives.
- Comparison with someone ahead of you is good incentive for ambition. If that person is not far enough ahead of you, to arouse envy it is best.
- Envy is just ambition for something too far ahead of you.
